SRF Conference Nearly Sold Out

The 37th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference is April 23-26 in Santa Rosa, California. This conference is expected to sell out. Please register soon since there will probably not be onsite registration.

Most lodging group blocks are sold out but there are six rooms left at the Flamingo Hotel where the Plenary Session will be held. For more details, go to the Conference FAQs page and click on the hotel options section. Click here to see additional hotels that may honor the state and federal rates on an individually requested basis. 


Pre-Register for the SRF Poster Session 

SRF welcomes your attendance and participation in the 37th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference Poster Session that will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 7 – 10 pm at the Finley Community Center in Santa Rosa, CA. Please note that you must be registered for the Conference in order to participate in the Poster Session.

SRF Annual Meeting, Membership Dinner, and Film Screening of The Breach

Please join SRF for our Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, April 24 followed by a fabulous membership dinner and film screening of The Breach. You do not need to be a member to attend. Sign up for this event via the SRF Conference Registration.


2019 Fisheries Habitat Restoration PSN Open

California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Fisheries Habitat Restoration PSN is online. CDFW is hosting workshops throughout the state. To see all of the documents related to the solicitation and the schedule of workshops, please click here. The deadline is April 16.


Watershed Day at the Capitol

Watershed Day at the Capitol on April 10 in Sacramento will focus on “Tools for Continuity: Water, Bonds, and Coordinators” and will explore community restoration needs with a changing climate, funding and state structures. Sustainable Conservation Resources  

Sustainable Conservation’s recent eNewsletter Accelerating Restorationincluded some great resources for the restoration community including information about the Habitat Restoration and Enhancement (HRE) Act and Technical Resources including Programmatic Permits and Tips for Permitting Success.


SRF Banquet and Silent Auction  

The SRF Banquet will feature wild salmon, an awards ceremony and cabaret, and a live band Casey Neill and the Norway Rats. The banquet tends to sell out so please register in advance.
The banquet and the poster session will also include a silent auction with fine wines, Patagonia gear, whale-watching trips, tools, art and other fabulous items. Please email SRF if you would like to contribute an item for the annual silent auction.
