SRF Conference Proceedings Now Online 

The full and revised 2018 Conference Proceedings are now online. If you did not get a hard copy of the Conference Proceedings at the conference and would like one, please fill out this form. SRF is considering doing a small print run and it would be helpful to know how many conference participants did not get a copy of the Proceedings.


SRF Conference Plenary Session & More Online  

Presentations from the 36th Annual SRF Conference are currently being uploaded. The Plenary Session video is now online, as well as videos from the Klamath River and Eel River sessions. For powerpoints of the these  sessions, visit the conference website. Please stay tuned for future uploads.


Registration Now Open for 21st Annual Coho Confab, August 24-26

SRF with the support of California Department of Fish and Wildlife, will host the 21st Annual Coho Confab at the beautiful Rock Creek Ranch on the South Fork of the Smith River. Workshops will include Beaver Dam Analogues workshop and tour and underwater fish identification on the Lower Smith River as well as an Open Forum focused on Research to Restoration. Field tours will visit future and completed fish passage projects and bridge replacements, large wood projects in Redwood State Parks, and engineered log jams in the Lower Klamath. SRF Large Wood Technical Field School Registration is Now Open

Join SRF and Trout Unlimited for our first Large Wood Technical Field School that will be held at Jug Handle Creek Farm on the Mendocino Coast during October 30-31. The field school will include a full-day technical workshop and tours of innovative large wood projects. This school is intended for planners, foresters, heavy equipment operators, and others interested in large wood restoration efforts. Advanced registration is $175 and includes the workshops, field tours, and six meals. For an additional $61 per person per night, participants can sign up to stay at the Jug Handle Creek Farmhouse or cabins on a first-come, first-serve basis. To make a reservation to stay in the house or cabins, please email info@calsalmon.org.

Fish Passage Forum and PMEP Coordinator Job Opportunities  

Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission is seeking two coordinators for the California Fish Passage Forum and Pacific Marine and Estuarine Fish Habitat Partnership (PMEP), more information can be found here. The deadlines for written questions and submissions are June 29 and July 13, respectively.


Prop 1 Funding Announcement

CDFW is now accepting proposals in response to the Fiscal Year 2018-19 Proposal Solicitation Notice under its Proposition 1 Restoration Grant Programs.

Proposals are due Wednesday, June 13, 2018, by 4:00 PM, PDT.

CDFW will host two online workshops to provide technical assistance with the solicitation and online application system.
