SRF has launched an online webinar series to highlight 2020 Conference themes that will be explored when it is feasible to produce the Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference. These short webinars will take place on the fourth Friday of each month at noon.
The second webinar in this series will take place on June 26. It will be an exploration of the effects of food webs and aquatic habitat productivity on the growth of juvenile salmonids. CalTrout biologist Jacob Katz will begin the webinar with a presentation on reintegrating floodplain function into Sacramento Valley water, fish, and farm management.
Here is the Zoom registration link for the webinar. Once you enter your information, the link to the Zoom meeting will become available. SRF will make a recording of the webinar available on our website afterwards.
Fish passage engineer Michael Love began the series in May with an overview of Part XII of the CDFW Salmonid Stream Habitat Restoration Manual. A recording of the presentation and a pdf of his slides are available on the SRF website.
