The Nature Conservancy's California Drought Dashboard is a new tool for exploring how the drought is impacting rivers and habitat throughout California. By selecting a river from the list of options, you can access current USGS data to see the weekly average flow as compared to previous gage readings.
Fourteen of California's rivers are at a "new low", including the Eel River on the North Coast where Salmonid Restoration Federation has been conducting extensive water conservation and outreach efforts to improve habitat conditions for salmon. Visit our Redwood Creek Water Conservation Project page to learn about community-led water conservation efforts in the Eel River watershed.
