Presenter abstracts are due on November 9, 2015. Please know that the SRF Call for Abstracts has become very competitive, and presentations that have not previously been made at the SRF Conference are given priority. Refer to the workshop or session descriptions to ensure that your abstract submission aligns with the proposed focus.
To submit an abstract, e-mail it in a Word Document to abstracts@calsalmon.org using the required formatting guidelines (available in the Penultimate Call). Receipt of your submission will be acknowledged by email and forwarded to the correct session chair.
2016 Poster Session Registration Now Open
SRF welcomes your attendance and participation in the 34th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference Poster Session, which will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 from 7 – 10 pm at the River Lodge in Fortuna, CA.
There is no cost to attend or present at the Poster Session. This annual event is open to all conference attendees and is a great venue to network with your peers. We encourage posters, educational materials, software exhibits, and multimedia (video) presentations.
2016 SRF Conference Workshops and Field Tours
Workshops and field tours at the upcoming Salmonid Restoration Conference will take place April 6-7. 2016 in Fortuna, CA.
Steelhead Report Card Request for Proposals
The Steelhead Report and Restoration Card (SHRRC) program has been awarded additional authority for fiscal year 2015/2016. Roughly $473,000 of grantable funds will be made available through a supplementary Proposal Solicitation Notice (PSN) which is expected to be released Monday October 19th, 2015 and close Friday November 13th, 2015.
Shasta River Water Transaction Program
The Shasta River Water Transaction Program has been working with agricultural landowners, resource agencies, the local watermaster district and others to coordinate adding voluntarily flows increase stream to assist the returning adult salmon in the Shasta River watershed.
Public Draft of NMFS Fisheries Multispecies Plan
The Public Draft Coastal Multispecies Recovery Plan published in the Federal Register today and associated public meetings will occur between October 14 and November 5. Please help NMFS publicize the public draft and meetings by forwarding the press release to interested parties.
