2020 SRF Conference Proposal Solicitation
SRF is happy to announce that the 38th Annual Conference will be held in Santa Cruz, California March 31-April 3, 2020. The Initial Call for Proposals is now open; to submit a proposal for a workshop, session, or field tour, please email to abstracts@calsalmon.org by August 7. The First Call for Abstracts will be posted in August / September 2019.
SRF Pond Planning Groundwater Recharge Workshop and Tour
August 17, Eel River Watershed
SRF and Sanctuary Forest will be offering a Pond Planning and Groundwater Recharge Workshop and Tour on August 17 at the Beginnings Octagon in Briceland, CA. This workshop will focus on planning for improved winter water storage including ponds and groundwater recharge projects. Following the workshop, participants will visit the exciting Sanctuary Forest Baker Creek project. Register now to save your spot!

Coho Confab: Registration and Agenda Now Online
August 23-25, Klamath River
SRF, with the support of California Department of Fish and Wildlife, will host the 22nd Annual Coho Confab at Sandy Bar Ranch on the Klamath River. Join SRF, Mid-Klamath Watershed Council, Hoopa, Karuk, and Yurok tribes, and other restoration partners in a destination Confab on the Klamath River. This Confab will focus on off-channel habitat, large wood, thermal refugia, fish passage, prescribed fire techniques, levee setbacks and restoring the natural channel, as well as tour exciting restoration projects throughout the Klamath and Trinity River region. The 37th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference was held April 23-26 in Santa Rosa, CA.
Videos of several sessions from the conference, including the 2019 SRF Stage Zero Workshop, are now up on our Vimeo page.
Presentation slideshows from selected sessions are also available here on our website, including David Dralle's presentation on "The Salmonid and the Subsurface: The Importance Of Rock Type For Understanding And Sustaining Northern California Aquatic Ecosystems" from the session "Innovations in the Science and Management of Dry Season Water Supply for Salmonid Recovery in California".
