What are the lodging options for the Conference?
Hotel Paradox is where the workshops will be held on April 29 - 30, 2025. Tours will depart across the street from the Hotel Paradox at the Resource Center for Nonviolence. The Courtyard by Marriott is walking distance to the Cocoanut Grove where the main conference days will be held from May 1 - 2, 2025. Both are excellent options.
 
The Hotel Paradox is at 611 Ocean St and is offering the federal per diem rate of $143 + tax. Parking is an additional fee of $10 per day. Here is the group block reservation link. The discounted reservation deadline is Friday, March 28, 2025.
 
The Courtyard by Marriott is at 313 Riverside Avenue and is offering the federal per diem rate of $139 + tax. Valet Parking is an additional fee of $25 per day. See options here. Here is the group block reservation link. The discounted reservation deadline is Monday, March 10, 2025.
What is the timeline for session proposals and abstract submissions?
The call for session, workshop, and field tour proposals goes out in July and closes in August before the conference. 
 
 The Call for Proposals is now closed.
 
The Second Call for Abstracts is now open; to submit an abstract for a workshop or a concurrent session, please fill out this form by Monday, November 18.

How do I donate to the Conference Scholarship Fund?

You can make a tax deductible donation here to the conference scholarship fund that will enable tribal members, underrepresented fisheries students, and rural landowners to attend the premier salmon restoration conference in California.

Yes! Please use the Silent Auction Donation Form to tell us about your donation and its value.

How do I sign up for the Conference poster session?
Please use the poster session form to register for the 2025 Poster Session that will be Thursday, March 28 at the conference venue. Please fill out the form by Monday, April 14, 2025. SRF encourages posters, pamphlet distribution, software exhibits, and multimedia (video) presentations. SRF recommends wall posters be no larger than 3' x 4' and be light enough to be supported by blue tape (no tacks or duct tape). There will also be space for free-standing posters for tabletop display like trifold or propped up foam core. SRF can provide a limited number of stands for mounted posters. You must be registered to attend the conference to attend the poster session.
What COVID protocols will SRF be taking at the SRF Conference?

SRF will follow all CDC and Santa Cruz County public health COVID precautions and recommendations COVID. SRF recommends that all conference participants get tested prior to traveling to the conference.
