Salmonid Restoration Federation

38th Annual SRF Conference: Call for Proposals Now Open

Salmonid Restoration Federation is building our conference agenda for the 38th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference, which will be March 31 - April 3, 2020 in Santa Cruz, CA.

SRF is currently soliciting proposals for field tours, workshops, and sessions.

Please submit a brief proposal with the following guidelines.

Session / Workshop / Field Tour Proposed Title (Maximum of 100 Characters)

Session / Workshop / Field Tour Descriptions: (Maximum of 500 Characters)

Please submit a session / workshop description that describes what you are proposing, the focus, potential speakers, and if the session is primarily focused on biology, management issues and restoration strategies, or environmental / limiting factors. If you are proposing a field tour, please describe the proposed itinerary, what types of restoration techniques will be showcased, and potential collaborators. Please include a few high-resolution photos.

Sessions are approximately 3.5 hours and are limited to six presenters. Workshops are 9am to 5pm and should have an interactive component with key objectives rather than be a series of case studies. SRF utilizes a Public Call for Abstracts and encourages including a diverse range of presenters from various affiliations.  Even if you invite potential presenters, SRF respectfully requests that you review all abstracts and ask invited presenters to submit an abstract according to the Call for Abstracts’ timeline.

Please submit your proposal to abstracts@calsalmon.org by August 7, 2020

Please feel free to call or email if you have any questions.

Thank you for your consideration,
